February 7, 2008, 11:20 pm : Halloween Bully

When I was about 14 a couple of friends and I went out
on Halloween to steel candy from other kids. It was late and there was
what looked like a brother and sister walking down a dark street.
They were pretty small and I guessed them to be around 10 yrs old. I ran
past the boy and grabbed his bag of candy. He chased me and I knocked
him down a couple of times, but he kept getting back up and chasing me.
Finally, I threw him into a huge mud puddle at the intersection of
Oberlin St and 16th avenue. I’ll never forget his face as he lay there
all muddy, wet and crying. When I got home and went through his bag of
candy I found a prince and princess masks inside. Friar’s can you
offer me any forgiveness??????? I am sorry and it haunts me to this day.
